Convention Haul and a new take on an old technique!

Whew! What a week...I need to go back to work to rest!

Here's a close up of my dragon on Muslin. After the video I tried the stencil on RocLon fabric...not a clear image! Stick with woven fabric such as muslin or cotton. Heat set the design in the dryer or with an iron and it is permanent.

Remember Card

This is a simple card done with Tim Holtz Distress paints and a new Hero Arts Stamp Set.

Here is a look at the finished card. I inked the edges with Distress Inks Spiced Marmalade and Rusty Hinge.

Convention Haul

Hi Everyone...something in my blog or blogspot itself is broken and won't find my videos. Here is the link to my two videos for today. I am so sorry for this inconvenience today!

UPDATE...after much searching I was able to find a workaround for this Google glitch...the videos are now here on the blog! YAY!!

Stretched finances preventing buying most of what I wanted to buy, but some great prices and good planning helped me to bring home some goodies!

I'm in Chicago at the SDP Convention!

I arrived at the convention hotel at about 2 pm. Unpacked and went to register. Got a huge welcome from Miho, SDPs ambassador for the Japanese and an SDP staff member. Then I went to the volunteer table and signed up to monitor a Batic class with artist Bonnie Jones on Friday. I bought a floral class with Sharon Hamilton off of the resale board and then shopped the SDP Boutique for a bit. I bought some fun towels, a polo shirt on clearance and an SDP key chain.  Now I'm tucked up in my room relaxing, LoL!







Here's a picture of my room and of some things from the SDP BOUTIQUE. Great prices especially with the 10% off coupon from the Decorative Painter magazine... I spent only $20.00!
