My Mom's 80th Birthday Card

My beautiful mom turns 80 years young on Sunday, April 27th. Here is the card I made for her with my favorite brand of paper, Graphic45. I used the 8 x 8 Botanical Tea range.

Here are some photos of the finished card. I found my Celebrate stamp tucked underneath my laptop! I used Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to stamp "Celebrate." Then used two pop dots to attach it to the card.

Hi, these cards are popular and so I wanted to make one with you today! They can really be dressed up or down!

Some things I've been working on...My Muse is alive and well!

I've been busy this week designing for classes and a Mixed Media packet soon to be released on the same site as my Brickyard Poppies Mixed Media Packet...www.artapprenticeonline.com.

So a short video today introducing you to the projects that have come forth from my active muse this week! As always you can find most of the products I use at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium. The Putnam County Happy Scrappers event is called Crop Out Cancer and it held at the Putnam County Fairgrounds in Greencastle Indiana on April 4th and 5th 2014.

This is made with very old book pages, the Tim Holtz Pinecone die, the Tattered Leaves die, and new Tim Holtz industrial stickers. The photos are actually cut from a page in the Tim Holtz Laboratorie paper stack and inked with Distress Ink.

On a snowy sleety February day in Indiana, I added some color to my world!

The Stamps I used in the video are from Stampland, not Stamp Away. Also I stamped my images on cream colored cardstock after the video, tore them out and inked over them with the same colors of Archival inks that I used in the video. Then I glued them to the pages. I like this better because I can see the images more clearly.
