Merry Christmas to you all!

It's Christmas week and I am finishing up some last minute things, but I am done with the baking!

Here are some photos of my last minute projects.

This is a a Tim Holtz tray done with a design by Chris Haughey. These trays are so versatile and makes a fun to paint and fun to use Advent Calendar! You can find Chris's book at www.cdwood.com

And these are from Patty Rawlinson, both a cellphone stand and a tablet stand! You can find this at www.creativeartslifestyle.com

Merry Christmas!

Due to Unforseen circumstances...

I was not able to make a video today.

I would like to at least share my pictures of our very successful day at the Tri Kappa Gingerbread Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday December 6th. It was a fabulous show and we sold out of my painted ornaments, and my partner, Donna Harcourt's lighted wine bottles, and my DoTerra essential Oils bath salts and scrubs sold very well too!

We sold lots of goodies, chocolate covered pretzels, white chocolate covered oreos, and more!

Also here is a photo of my Nativity Tray, Patty Rawlinson design, that is still for sale!

Word Block Package Tags

Here is a quick idea to add glitz to your gift packages. Pardon the format, had to reshoot after my Ipad told me after the fact that it didn't have enough space! (sheese!)

Here are a few pictures:

Collage Frame Gift

Here is a great gift that's fast and fun to make and very inexpensive! Use whatever you have and just have a play!

The stamps I used on the Bird Frames were from the Dina Wakley Scribbled Birds and All the Gals stamp sets by Stampers Anonymous.
The link to the collage Frame with the stenciled glitter and the metallic drawer pull is here: Mixed Media Decor by Aida Haron. I used her ideas but here is her stellar frame creation!

The blue glitter I used is Tumbled Glass, not Peacock Feathers! Arghhh!

After the video I added a Mustard Seed Glittered arrow from the TH stencil Arrows, and a few chevrons from the TH Chevron stencil with the mixed 3 colors of glitter left overs.  Be sure to clean your stencils ASAP! Then I edged the frame in Vintage Photo Distress ink.

The last addition is to spatter the frame with White paint and then black paint.

When you finish and all is dry, finish it off with a Matte Sealer Spray. You must use a spray and not a brush on sealer or varnish because the Dylusions Spray Inks and the Distress Ink will reactivate and disappear on you when they get wet.
Don't forget to also decorate the edges and back side of the frame, though it's not necessary to be as elaborate as the front side. Here is the back of my collage frame that was inspired by Aida Haron.
